Starting the New Year on a Higher Spiritual Frequency: Embrace Renewal and Transformation

Starting the new year with a fresh spiritual frequency is more than just setting resolutions or creating new routines. It’s about making an intentional shift that aligns your inner self with the energy you want to embody for the year ahead. This process can be deeply transformative, allowing you to enter the new year not just with hope, but with a renewed sense of self. Here’s how to set yourself up for that shift, along with an example of how I practice this in my own life and through my work.

  1. Reflect and Release

The first step is to reflect on the past year. Spend time recognizing what worked, what didn’t, and—most importantly—what lessons came out of your experiences. Spiritual renewal is not about ignoring or erasing the past, but rather acknowledging it and then letting go of what no longer serves you. This can be done through journaling, meditation, or even a simple visualization where you imagine yourself releasing old patterns, beliefs, or situations like leaves falling away from a tree.

For me, this process is tied to my past experiences and the spiritual lessons I’ve learned along the way. One key part of my journey was recognizing how certain relationships drained me because I allowed them to operate on their terms instead of mine. Reflecting on that period in my life, where I was caught in a dynamic with someone who only reached out when it was convenient for them, showed me how vital it is to set boundaries and reclaim my power. Once I became aware of how much I was compromising my own well-being, I consciously released those patterns. It was empowering and opened up new, healthier connections that aligned better with my energy.

  1. Set Intentions, Not Resolutions

Intentions are different from resolutions. Resolutions tend to focus on external achievements or goals, whereas intentions are about aligning with your soul’s desires. When setting intentions, ask yourself: “How do I want to feel this year?” “What energy do I want to embody?” Focus on the quality of life you want to create rather than fixating on specific outcomes.

In my work with Intuitive Edge, I guide clients to access these deeper layers of themselves. For instance, I often help people connect to their own inner knowing through intuitive readings. A powerful way I support them in renewing their spiritual frequency is by showing them how to access their own Akashic records. There is a common misconception that only certain individuals can access these records, but I believe that anyone can learn to tap into this wisdom. By teaching clients how to connect with their records, they gain insight into their soul’s journey, which can be incredibly liberating and help them set authentic, soul-aligned intentions.

  1. Engage in Rituals that Ground Your Intentions

Rituals are a powerful way to anchor new intentions and spiritual frequencies. This could be lighting candles, using crystals, or even creating a vision board that symbolizes what you want to manifest. Personally, I find that incorporating rituals around the new moon is particularly powerful, as it is a time of new beginnings.

In my own practice, I’ve developed a ritual that combines visualization, energy work, and intention-setting to clear away the old and welcome the new. One example of this is using guided visualization to reconnect with past lives. For me, my past life as a witch who was burned alive held trauma that needed to be acknowledged and transformed. By confronting that fear in this life and understanding its influence on my current patterns, I was able to break free from a subconscious cycle of suppression and fear of visibility.

  1. Embrace New Experiences and Knowledge

Spiritual renewal is also about opening yourself to new experiences and knowledge. This could mean learning about a new spiritual practice, exploring different forms of meditation, or simply allowing yourself to follow your curiosity wherever it may lead. Growth often comes from the willingness to step into the unknown, trusting that what you’re drawn to is what your soul needs at this moment.

In my readings and consultations, I encourage people to listen to their intuition and explore whatever sparks their curiosity. Sometimes, a single nudge to explore something new can lead to a profound breakthrough. I’ve seen clients go from feeling stuck and confused to experiencing powerful transformations, simply by allowing themselves to embrace new perspectives.

  1. Trust Your Own Process

Finally, trust that your path is unique to you. There’s no right or wrong way to approach spiritual renewal. What works for one person might not work for another, and that’s okay. The important thing is to stay true to what resonates with you.

This is something I emphasize in all my work. Whether it’s teaching clients to access their Akashic records or guiding them through intuitive readings, I hold space for them to discover their own truths. It’s never about imposing a set way of doing things but rather empowering others to trust their own inner wisdom. When we connect to our intuition and trust our spiritual path, we align with a frequency that is truly ours, allowing us to step into the new year with clarity, confidence, and joy.

By embracing these practices, you can start the new year on a higher spiritual frequency, ready to manifest what truly aligns with your soul.

Awakening Consciousness. We Are the Sum of Our Own Experiences

Is consciousness merely a product of genes and experiences, or does it possess a “force” that can direct and mold our actions, choices, decisions, and self-evolution? This philosophical perspective, which underscores how past experiences shape our identities, beliefs, behaviors, and future, invites us to ponder deeper and go “prospecting” to have meaning and some depth of understanding for such a question. As ”prospectors’‘ navigating life, we constantly reflect on our journeys and the many ”Soul Adventures’ we encounter. Like explorers, we seek new experiences, destinations, and knowledge. We are embodied spirits with a unique purpose in life! We live, experience the world around us, and create memories that pass through our genes to future generations, guiding them to protect and improve themselves to fulfill their destinies. Consciousness and the sum of our experiences and may very well be that connection, community, and container that moves us onward and upward as we grow, age, transform, and return to that “source force” upon death.

Moreover, ”Soul Adventures’‘ refers to the profound experiences that shape our souls and our time here incarnated in the earth’s physical being, energy, density, vibration, and frequency. We contemplate how our past shapes our present moment and can directly influence our future. As babies, we are surprisingly similar in density, vibration, and energy; then life takes over, we grow, learn, experience, and change, and the differences come in. Daily, we make life choices, meet new people, make friends, travel, discover, and experience new things. These little things add up to what we are today. “You are the sum total of everything you’ve ever seen, heard, eaten, smelled, been told, forgot – it’s all there. Everything influences each of us, and because of that I try to make sure that my experiences are positive.” -Maya Angelou.

We perceive the world from a view that is the sum of our self-accredited experiences, our beliefs, and the constant barrage of inputs we receive all around us. Just from genetics alone, we combine our given genes and how they are expressed, repressed, or even changed within our environment. A gene in itself does not do anything. It needs to be triggered to be expressed. Many triggers happen early on, such as automatic breathing after birth. Some of those triggers happen later, such as puberty moving into adulthood, and those gene changes will always occur in an environment of triggers and existence.

Our brains are split in two as well, with a part of it being hardwired for automated functions, movement, ability, progressions, and essential fight-flight or freeze responses. Another part of the brain is called “plastic,”meaning it is malleable. It can perform what medicine, science, and physics call “neuroplasticity,” which is the brain’s way of forming and reorganizing synaptic connections and growing new pathways, especially in response to learning or experience or following an injury to the body or the brain. We can change our brain’s wiring, energy patterns, thinking, downloading, and learning on a different level. We can rewire the original human blueprint of the brain, opening the door to consciousness, the universe, and the deeper meaning of life, evolution, and our existence. There is much truth and fact that it can be mind over matter in our physical world.

We can learn new skills, such as driving a car and reading and writing, but we only have a few years to hardwire the skills over generations. Some linguists believe that the capacity for language is hardwired, but the particular language we learn is based on experiences. Communication technology, as an extension of our brains, is sometimes thought of as having its evolution (sociologists talk about “memes”). Our technology is not hardwired into our genes (at least not yet) but is now considered highly variable. It could be argued that our technological extensions are just as much a part of who we are as our personalities.

The vast majority of the world’s population also believes in a spiritual aspect or a divine connection of themselves with a high source, power, frequency, a “God or Deity,” connection depending on the location and belief systems in that part of the world. If it is true, it is not a genetic function; however, depending on who we ask, experience might affect it. It might also be that “additional” aspect of self and to know thyself. The biggest question we must ask ourselves is how consciousness plays a role in our development. It would be nice to think that experience guarantees wisdom and longevity only hones this further, but that is untrue. We choose to ignore experiences we do not like or choose not to believe in, or the ego decides to turn a blind “eye” to them. We often define ourselves based on beliefs that are not based on actual experiences.

The human mind is a brilliant, expanding, and connecting tool with a shared footing in reality and imagination. Our understanding of the world is what we perceive and can imagine. It has been said, thought, written, and expressed over time and applied through generations that our focus can determine our reality. The question becomes what we focus on in life and how we respond both unconsciously at the gene level of our being and the consciousness level of our physical being based on choice, free will, and evolution of our thoughts and mindfulness applications directly through our experiences.

Electively, we are the sum of our experiences, which are convenient and agree with our beliefs. Our powers of cognition, pattern recognition, and the ability to conclude by utilizing different, unrelated source material make us more like a set of exponential multiplications (an “exponential multiplicative” refers to a situation where something increases at a rate proportional to its current size, meaning it multiplies by a constant factor over equal intervals of time) of our experiences. Because we can, we do, we learn, grow, expand, multiply, and transform. Human exponential multiplication models exist within life, which is also exponential. “The world looks like a multiplication-table, or a mathematical equation, which, turn it how you will, balances itself.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson.

We are in the unique position of our “Roaring 20’s of transformation” of being able to assess new situations with win/loss ratio calculations that are unavailable to the brains of any other animal, no matter how “smart.”We have far more abilities, many of which still need to be fully recognized and understood by the most advanced brain researchers than most will ever fully realize or utilize. We will also have the opportunity to learn, grow, and go deeper within the rapid advancement of Artificial intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing (AWS), and the combination of quantum computing, mathematics, theory, and physics (as we understand it today and always subject to change over time) of consciousness and the roles it plays in the physical journeys and experiences as humans. Each experience contributes to understanding the world and influences our decisions and interactions. This concept explores various fields, including psychology, philosophy, sociology, and spirituality, and it highlights the importance of personal history in forming who we are as individuals.

The idea and “diamonds” that we are the sum of our experiences is a compelling concept that underscores the essence of our identities and who we are. ““I think therefore I am.”” Every moment, memory, interaction, and challenge contribute to the mosaic of who we are. With the foundation of our identity from the moment we are born and incarnate into a physical body with energy, vibration, frequency, and density, we accumulate our life experiences. Each leaves a fingerprint or indelible mark on our psyche, from the mundane to the extraordinary. Education, friendships, cultural environments, family backgrounds, religions, and learned behaviors are critical in shaping our beliefs, values, and human behaviors.

These foundational experiences create a lens through which we view the world and interact with others: learning and growth. Experiences and “Soul Adventures” serve as our most outstanding teachers. Through successes and failures, we learn valuable lessons that guide our decision-making and personal growth. For instance, overcoming challenges can foster resilience and adaptability, while positive experiences can boost our confidence and reinforce our values. Each lesson learned becomes a building block in our personal development, shaping our character and influencing our future choices. Failure is our most excellent teacher.

Emotional Imprints.   Our experiences also leave emotional imprints that can significantly impact our mental health and well-being. Traumatic events may lead to anxiety or depression, while joyful moments can cultivate happiness and contentment. Recognizing the emotional weight of our experiences is crucial in understanding how they shape our identities. Many individuals find healing in processing their experiences through therapy, creative expression, or supportive relationships.

Relationships and Social Influences.   The people we encounter along our journey contribute to our experiences and shape our identities. Relationships can provide support, inspiration, and differing perspectives, enriching our understanding of ourselves and the world. Our social circles often reflect our values and beliefs, further reinforcing our identity. Engaging with diverse viewpoints can challenge our assumptions and encourage personal growth, allowing us to evolve continuously.

The Role of Reflection.   As we accumulate experiences, it becomes essential to engage in reflection. Taking time to ponder our past can help us understand how it shapes our present behavior and future aspirations. Reflection is not just a passive process but a powerful tool that allows us to identify patterns, recognize growth, and make informed decisions moving forward. Journaling, yoga, meditation, getting out in nature, or engaging in deep conversations can facilitate this process, providing clarity and insight into our evolving identities. We can take the reins of our personal growth and development through reflection and often say as reminders to my clients and students to “take the time to disconnect so that we can make the time to reconnect.”

Humans are much like snowflakes and crystals, just as each crystal and snowflake is unique, and we know that for a fact proven through long-documented research and science, humans would also fall into the category of uniqueness. No two crystals, snowflakes, or human beings are the same. We are all love, loved and unique; we are all connected through the sum of our life experiences. From that perspective of uniqueness, we consider what happens to us and around us as similarly unique, belonging only to ourselves as a unique living human “being.” If we invest any thought processes into determining our uniqueness, we may find many instances to make such a determination.

We are embracing the journey. Understanding that we are the sum of our experiences invites us to embrace life’s journey with joy, curiosity, and optimism. It encourages us to seek new experiences, learn from challenges, and celebrate our achievements and failures. Each moment presents an opportunity for growth, learning, and experiencing, and by being mindful and present in our experiences, we can cultivate a more prosperous, fulfilling, peaceful, and joyous life. Embracing, observing, and accepting the journey means being open to each experience’s lessons, both the good, bad, and the ugly, while being optimistic about the growth they can foster. We become the sum of our experiences and consciousness in the physical world: love, a bubble, a container, a community, and a connector, allowing humans to further growth, education, knowledge, wisdom, evolution, and maybe even a path to enlightenment!

This realization empowers us to take ownership of our narratives, shaping our identities with intention, purpose, and passion. As we continue to navigate the complexities of life, let us cherish our experiences and recognize their profound impact on who we are and who we aspire to become. Our experiences are perceived through the senses and lenses, but unconditional love is not. If unconditional love is higher than conditional love, it would be fair to conclude that it would still need to be conscious of something, so consciousness is the house in which love takes place.

We share a lot with people around us, with the masses; we use the same appliances in our lives as everyone else, so where do we go to find something unique that pertains only to ourselves? We would have to refer to the very personal nature of our life as unique human beings, so one has much knowledge about us and our inner life. Whatever happens in life, in this material world that touches that inner space, the soul, the brain, the heart, the inner dimension of our being and uniqueness, attracts the belief that it is only happening to us and, therefore, is unique. Consciousness and the sum of our experiences for evolution and transformation may very well be that universal love, connection, community, and container that moves us onward and upward as we patiently wait for the return to source through the energy, knowledge, and transformation of what humans through language call death. This is the awakening and awareness process of consciousness. Welcome to it!

Turning Pain into Purpose – A Journey of Healing and Transformation

Pain is an inevitable part of our human experience, but how we respond to it can profoundly shape our lives. Is this happening to me, or is this happening for me (now pause reading here, go and look into a mirror, place hands on the hips, and embrace that strong, Superhero pose as we decide our focus on the pain either as a victim of life or the owner of it)? Many individuals worldwide and throughout history have discovered that suffering can catalyze personal growth, healing, strength, and transformation. By reframing pain as an opportunity for purpose, we can find meaning in our struggles and use them to fuel our passions. “The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation. Things you think are separate and different are actually one and the same.” -Guru Pathik.

While pain is a universal experience for everyone who has ever lived, its impact will always vary from person to person. By embracing our suffering and transforming it into purpose, we can create meaningful change in our lives, the lives of others, and this amazing world we all share. This transformation journey, though challenging, holds the potential for profound personal growth and fulfillment. Ultimately, our pain can become a powerful narrative that defines our purpose and inspires those around us.

Understanding Pain:

Pain can manifest in physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual forms. It often serves as a signal that something is wrong, prompting us to take action. While it can be debilitating, pain also has the potential to teach us valuable lessons about resilience, compassion, empathy, and the human condition. We should accept our feelings and experiences without judgment and or opinion. Understanding our brain and heart pain is the first step toward acceptance, healing, and transformation.

Finding Our Purpose:

Channel energy. Use the energy from our pain to fuel our passions and discover a new purpose in life. Whether through art, writing, dancing, plant medicines, meditation, yoga, hiking, volunteering, or advocacy, channeling our feelings into creative outlets can bring a sense of purpose, healing, and transformation! Transforming pain into purpose often involves setting new goals. These can be related to personal development, career aspirations, or social impact. Having a clear direction can provide motivation and focus, and setting clear, attainable goals can give us a sense of purpose.

Practice self-compassion. Be kind to yourself during this change process. Understand that healing takes time and that it’s okay to feel vulnerable. Life is not a sprint but a marathon, and as Mr. Mark Twain reminds us, “Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many.” Embracing self-compassion is a crucial part of this journey, allowing us to navigate the challenges with grace and a positive mindset.

Embrace change and engage in deviational mindfulness. Understand that our journey will evolve as we do and as life does. Stay open and flexible to new passions, inspirations, and purposes that may arise as we heal. Practices like meditation, qigong, breathwork, and yoga can help us stay in the present moment while reducing anxiety, depression, and stress related to past pain and the fast changes taking place in the material world. We soon learn that the only constant in life is that of change, so we work to keep up with the waves of change vs. being underneath them.

Celebrate small wins and stay committed. Acknowledge progress, no matter how small. Celebrating achievements can enhance our motivation, healing, and transformations and reinforce our sense of purpose. Turning our pain into passion is a journey, not a destination. Stay committed to growth, be patient, and allow that grace and self-compassion to flow daily. Each small step forward is a reason to celebrate and a reminder of our resilience and strength.

Reflection. Take time to reflect on our pain. Take the time to disconnect to make the time to reconnect. It will help give us perspective on the pain through Reflection, acceptance, and surrender to the power of purpose. What specific life experiences have shaped us? Better said, we are the sum of all our life experiences and the lessons we have learned all along the way. Journaling can be helpful for life’s toolbox in this process, as it provides a record of growth and transformation from our past. Journaling can also help us articulate our feelings. Write about the pain, its meaning, and how it has affected our lives.

Connect with others. Sharing our experiences can foster connection and understanding. Support groups, forums, or conversations with family, friends, and yes, even our fur babies can provide a sense of community, connection, and validation as we “prospect” through our pain. Connecting with others who have experienced similar pain can be empowering. Consider joining support groups or online communities.

Inspiring real-world examples:

Many influential figures have turned their pain into purpose. Ms. Oprah Winfrey, for instance, overcame a traumatic childhood to become a leading voice in self-improvement and empowerment. Similarly, Ms. J.K. Rowling faced numerous rejections before publishing the Harry Potter series, inspiring millions worldwide. Mr. Nick Vujicic, born without arms and legs, overcame immense challenges and is now a motivational speaker and author known to many around the globe for his purpose, inspiration, and tenacity.

The Power of Reframing:

Reframing is a psychological technique that involves changing how we perceive a situation. Instead of viewing pain as a negative experience, we can see it as a stepping stone toward growth. This shift in perspective allows us to extract valuable insights from our suffering, which can inform our future choices and actions. Dr. Wayne Dyer reminds us, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

Mr. Tony Robbins grew up in an unstable household. Tony faced years of financial struggles and personal challenges, but instead of giving up and giving in, Tony turned his negative experiences into a career and purpose as a motivational speaker and life coach who has helped millions achieve personal and financial freedom. Ms. Brené Brown, known as a researcher and author in the work of vulnerability and shame, shares her struggles and pain through her popular TED talks and books to inspire others to embrace their imperfections and live authentically with purpose. Their stories remind us that pain can be the precursor to extraordinary achievements, purpose, healing, and transformation that can change not only our lives but the lives of others!

“The soul is placed in the body like a rough diamond and must be polished, or the luster of it will never appear.” – Daniel Defoe.

Please keep going, living, and “prospecting” daily for that diamond deep within the soul and the many beautiful gems of healing, inspiration, encouragement, motivation, and transformation our world will reveal in time! It is now time to turn that pain into purpose, or as the old adage goes, what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger! We got this and can do it together to turn that pain into purpose.

Consider sharing those painful experiences with others who can relate and listen, such as trained experts, counselors, mentors, or life coaches. This can be therapeutic and healing and inspire those going through similar struggles and pain. By actively engaging in these practices above, we can transform our pain into a meaningful purpose that enriches our lives and the lives of others. “You have power over your mind–not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”

–Marcus Aurelius.

The Spiritual Journey: Navigating the Depths of the Soul

“Awareness is the greatest agent for change.”-Eckhart Tolle.

The spiritual journey is a profound and transformative experience that invites us as individuals to explore the depths of our being, seek inner peace, and connect with something greater than ourselves. It is a pilgrimage of self-discovery, where one embarks on a path of enlightenment, growth, and transcendence. In this article, we will delve into the various aspects of the spiritual journey, its significance, and how it can shape and transform our lives. “Psychological and spiritual work —both necessary for full human realization —are meant to proceed both separately and simultaneously as life unfolds.” -David Richo.

The Call to Seek:

The spiritual journey often begins with a deep yearning or a sense of restlessness within us. It is a call to seek answers, purpose, and a deeper understanding of the many mysteries of life. This initial longing sets us on a path of self-reflection, questioning the nature of our existence and seeking a connection with the divine or something larger than ourselves. “Dare to dream. Dare to explore. Dare to live and discover the diamond within.” -The Intuitive Prospector™.

Exploring Inner Realms:

Santosh Kalvar reminds us that “life is an experiment in which you may fail or succeed. Explore more, expect least.” As we embark on our spiritual journey to explore the inner realms of our consciousness and the material world, this will become the journey of a thousand steps that begin with us and the next steps we choose. Through meditation, introspection, and self-awareness practices, we unravel the layers of conditioning and societal expectations that have shaped our identities and learned behaviors. In this process, we cultivate a deeper connection with our true selves, discovering our passions, values, authentic purpose, and the beginning of truly “knowing thyself.”

Cultivating Mindfulness and Presence:

The spiritual journey encourages mindfulness and presence in our daily lives. We learn to let go of attachments to the past or worries about the future by bringing awareness to the present moment. Through meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness exercises, we develop the capacity to fully experience each moment with clarity, gratitude, and acceptance. There is great power and potential in the present moments of life. “Our life is shaped by our mind, for we become what we think.” -Buddha.

Embracing Transformation and Growth:

The spiritual journey is a path of ascension, growth, healing, and transformation. As we dive into the depths of our being, we confront our fears, insecurities, and limiting beliefs. This inner exploration allows us to heal past wounds, release emotional baggage, and embrace our innate potential. Through this process, we evolve into the best versions of ourselves, embodying qualities such as compassion, kindness, being in service to one another, resilience, and authenticity. “We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” -Joseph Campbell.

Connecting with the Divine:

At the heart of the spiritual journey lies the quest for connection with something greater than us. We seek a sense of transcendence and communion with the divine through religious practices, nature, or personal beliefs. This connection provides solace, guidance, and a profound sense of purpose, allowing us to navigate life’s challenges with education, grace, knowledge, and wisdom. “Gravity may put the planets into motion, but without the divine Power, it could never put them into such a circulating motion as they have about the Sun; and therefore, for this as well as other reasons, I am compelled to ascribe the frame of this System to an intelligent Agent.” -Isaac Newton.

Daily tips to help connect, guide, inspire, and “prospect” further and deeper for the spiritual journey, exploring and navigating the depths of our soul:

1. Set an intention:
Clarify the purpose and what we hope to gain from our spiritual journey. This daily intention will help guide our actions and keep us focused. “Our intention creates our reality.” -Wayne Dyer

2. Practice mindfulness:
Cultivate a present-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and sensations through meditation, deep breathing exercises, or simply paying attention to the “magic in the present moment.”

3. Seek knowledge:
Read books, attend workshops, take on a spiritual mentor, and explore different spiritual teachings to deepen our understanding of spirituality and find what resonates personally with our own experiences, interests, and perspectives, but also be willing to surrender to stepping outside of one’s comfort zone as this is where real learning and change take place on the spiritual journey and at the depths of our soul. “Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.” -Confucius

4. Connect with nature:
Spend time in nature to reconnect with the natural world and experience a sense of awe and wonder. Take walks, hike, or sit and observe the beauty around us. “We still do not know one-thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.” -Albert Einstein

5. Cultivate gratitude:
Practice gratitude by acknowledging and appreciating the blessings in our life. This attitude of gratitude can help shift our focus to the positive and cultivate a sense of contentment and healing. “A grateful mind is a great mind which eventually attracts to itself great things.” -Plato

6. Find a community:
Surround us with like-minded individuals with similar spiritual interests. This community can provide support, guidance, and opportunities for growth, learning, and a sense of belonging. “One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn’t as individuals.” -Jean Vanier

7. Practice self-care:
Take care of the Physical, Emotional, Mental, Material, and Spiritual (P.E.M.M.S.)aspects of the soul and its many pathways. Engage in activities that nourish our souls, such as journaling, practicing self-compassion, or engaging in creative pursuits.

“Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” -E.E. Cummings.

8. Embrace uncertainty:
Allow us to embrace the unknown and be open to new experiences and perspectives. Trust that the spiritual journey will unfold uniquely as “the way knows the way!” F.A.I.L. (First Attempt In Learning) is often and every day on the spiritual journey while discovering the depths of the soul and what can be a transformative experience through free will and choices.

Remember, everyone’s spiritual journey is unique to our own experiences and perspectives, so trust, invest, and subscribe to being in the present moments of life, our intuition, and learn to follow what “feels right,” not necessarily everything we think in our minds or what we “see,” with human eyes. The spiritual journey is a transformative odyssey that invites us as individuals to embark on a path of ascension, growth, healing, self-discovery, transformation, and a unique connection with the divine and “something” greater and intelligent than that of the human consciousness. It is a journey of “prospecting,” seeking, exploring inner realms, cultivating mindfulness, embracing transformation, discovering, and connecting with something greater than our understanding.

As we navigate this spiritual journey, we can find solace, healing, forgiveness, connection, purpose, passion, inner peace, and a deep sense of fulfillment, joy, and love. May we all embark on this ancient, sacred, daily pilgrimage and uncover the many healing treasures and valuable gems of insight within our souls, this amazing planet, and this beautiful human “Soul Adventure” we often refer to as L.I.F.E. (Learn It From Experience).

The Spiritual Significance Of Birthdays

Birthdays are a special time of the year when we celebrate another year of life and reflect on our past, present, and future. But did you know that birthdays have spiritual significance as well? In many ancient cultures, birthdays were considered sacred and were celebrated in unique and meaningful ways.

In ancient Egypt, birthdays were seen as a time of renewal and rebirth. The Egyptians believed that each year, the individual’s soul was reborn into a new body, and the birthday was a time to honor and celebrate this spiritual journey. They would hold elaborate feasts and rituals to honor the gods and goddesses who protected them throughout the year.

In ancient Greece, birthdays were also considered sacred and were celebrated with offerings to the gods and goddesses. It was believed that on your birthday, you were closer to the divine and had the opportunity to receive blessings and guidance for the year ahead. People would gather to share food, drink, and stories, honoring the individual’s life and the path they were on.

In ancient Rome, birthdays were celebrated with great pomp and circumstance. The Romans believed that each person had a guardian spirit or “genius” that was born with them and watched over them throughout their life. On their birthday, they would make offerings to their genius, asking for protection and guidance in the year ahead. They would also hold feasts and parties, inviting friends and family to celebrate their life and accomplishments.

Today, we may not hold the same elaborate rituals and ceremonies as our ancient ancestors, but the spiritual significance of birthdays is still present. It is a time to reflect on our journey, to give thanks for the blessings in our life, and to set intentions for the year ahead. It is a time to connect with our higher self and the divine, to ask for guidance and support as we continue on our path.

So next time your birthday rolls around, take a moment to honor the spiritual significance of the day. Light a candle, say a prayer, or simply take a moment of silence to connect with your higher self and give thanks for another year of life. And remember, you are never alone on your journey – your guardian spirit, the divine, and all those who love and support you are always by your side. Happy Birthday!

Recognize & Resolve Your Personal Blocks

Have you ever felt like you’re stuck in a rut and can’t seem to move forward in life? It’s a common feeling that many of us experience at some point. But what if I told you that the key to unlocking your potential lies in identifying and working on your personal blocks?

Personal blocks are the limiting beliefs, fears, and negative patterns that hold us back from reaching our full potential. These blocks can stem from past experiences, societal conditioning, or even our own self-doubt. But the good news is that they can be overcome with a little bit of introspection and spiritual work.

One of the first steps in identifying your personal blocks is to take a closer look at your thoughts and behaviors. Are there recurring patterns that seem to be holding you back? Do you find yourself self-sabotaging or doubting your abilities? These are all signs that there may be some deeper issues at play.

Once you’ve identified your personal blocks, it’s time to start working on them spiritually. This can involve practices such as meditation, journaling, or working with a spiritual healer or therapist. By delving into the root causes of your blocks, you can begin to release them and create space for new, positive energy to flow in.

Another important aspect of working on your personal blocks is to practice self-love and compassion. It’s easy to be hard on ourselves when we feel stuck or stagnant, but it’s important to remember that we are all works in progress. By treating ourselves with kindness and understanding, we can start to break down the barriers that are holding us back.

Ultimately, the key to moving forward in life lies in facing our personal blocks head-on and doing the inner work necessary to overcome them. By taking the time to identify and work on our limiting beliefs and fears, we can start to cultivate a sense of empowerment and create the life we truly desire.

So if you’re feeling stuck or held back in any area of your life, take some time to explore your personal blocks and start working on them spiritually. You deserve to live a life that is full of joy, abundance, and fulfillment – and by releasing your personal blocks, you can start to make that a reality.

Angelic Healing

Many times, people come to me, broken, bent and hurt. They are looking to be healed. Not just physically, but mentally emotionally and spiritually. I send and perform healings as part of my work as a Psychic Medium and Animal Communicator. But did you know that you can also request healing and do healing on yourself? You can!

This may sound unbelievable, but it is true. We are made up of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It only transmutes into other forms. So, if you are suffering in any way, you can call upon the energy from Angels, Guides and even from your own spirit to help heal you. This is what they talk about when people discuss self-healing.

Of course, there are many different ways that one can practice this but I wanted to offer a few tips on how you can help facilitate your own healing or the healing of your loved ones or pets. As a gentle reminder, this type of energy work may not eliminate the need for doctors or medicine but may be used in conjunction with medical or alternative treatment. If you feel like you’re suffering from a certain condition, please check in with your own physicians as they offer a different type of healing.

But if you would like to use this body-centered Healing along with traditional medicine, my first suggestion is you want to get to a quiet place within yourself. This may differ for various people. You may want to meditate, exercise, or even sit quietly and breathe deeply to find that quiet place within. Whatever way you can get out of your head and into your body/spirit will be helpful.

Once you feel centered, you want to do a few deep cleansing breaths and allow your energy to sink deep within your body. As you do this, you should feel some tingling emanating from your heart chakra towards the edges of your body. This is just your energy center awakening. By doing this, you’re sending the message to your cells that you want to open your energy centers, be healed and whole.

If you feel led to, allow yourself to use your hands over whatever part of your body that may be bothering you. This allows you to channel the energy more directly.

As you begin to feel the energy build in your hands and fingertips direct it into the parts of the body that need attention. Allow yourself to call in any angels or guides that would like to assist you now.

Archangel Raphael is particularly good at healing. I like to call upon him as well as Archangel Metatron, who is helpful in pushing away any unwanted energy that you may be holding onto.

These angels are honored to assist with healing and are merely waiting for us to ask. Allow the angels to send a direct cord of energy from Source into the part of the body that needs healing.

This energy is very strong and can feel like a warm pulsing sensation that is connecting to your body. Allow this to continue for as long as it feels good to you.

While you permit this energetic healing to continue, allow your spirit self to start a chat with the part of the body that is begging for your attention. Feel free to imagine yourself connecting directly with this part of your physical self. Ask questions as to what it needs.

For example, if your stomach is bothering you, allow your higher self to have an easy conversation with your stomach. Ask your stomach what is missing for it to be healed. The answer may come in a word, a sentence or even a color. But pay attention because your body always knows what it needs.

Allow this deep energy from the other side to continue to heal you. After you make the connection with the other side and allow that energy to run through you, be sure to thank the angels and any guides you have been working with. This helps complete the circuit. You will feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.

It is also at this time that you may ask for the healing to continue as you go through your day or week. Feel free to set the intention for what type of healing you would like and for how long you need the healing to continue.

For example, you may ask for healing from 2 to 4 PM every afternoon. By doing so, you will be cognizant of when to be aware of any changes in your energetics field as well as allowing these shifts to take place.

Don’t be surprised during these times if you feel movement in your energy. Then feel free to check back in with your body and see what type of shifts have been made.

This type of healing is subtle and you may only notice a small shift, like a warming of a certain area. That is perfectly fine. As long as you continue with the healing practice you will notice more positive changes.

While there are some people that notice more instantaneous changes in their physical issues, certainly long-term chronic conditions take longer to heal while short term flus and the like can heal more rapidly.

Be gentle with yourself and notice any type of healing taking place and always be sure to process and practice gratitude.

I usually advise my clients to either do this energy work as they are waking up in the morning or when they are going to bed in the evening. It is at these times we are more open to healing.

The more regularly you do this the more you start to feel the physical issues soften. Just remember our body has the ability to heal. It is indeed your right and your lineage to be able to harness these energetic healing abilities.

We have the potential to undertake the work of healing ourselves and once we connect with our beautiful guides, ancestors and our angelic companions, we are able to make great improvements in our energetic, spiritual and physical health.

Where Did You Come From?

Excerpt from Divine Love Affair an Akashic Journey – Nancy Smith

The mystical power of creation is at the core of every religion and spiritual belief.

This Creator power is usually personified by the mindset and culture of the time. In some cases, the personification of this power becomes a communally agreed upon religious belief which supports the lifestyle of that culture.

Consistent throughout humanity’s search for meaning and spiritual expression is the mystery of something beyond our individual self. Something within ourselves searches and imagines there is a beginning, a mind, or a presence that is greater than ME. Part of our intuitive being wants to understand and relate to, and even return to, the place I came from.

Is This Where I Began?

As tribes developed in different regions of the world, unique cultures and beliefs continued to develop. The following section is full of interesting descriptions of creation myths found throughout the world.

As you read these fascinating and simplified versions of creation, begin to consider the use of symbolism in each story. What could the symbolic elements be telling you about the beliefs from these various tribes and cultures? Our own intuitive and divine nature often speaks to us through symbols. What beliefs are these people working with? What are they trying to understand about themselves through these symbols?

Your beliefs were taught to you by your parents and guardians, and were reinforced by your culture, schools, peers, and society at large. Mass media subjects us to a myriad of beliefs and ideas that often contradict each other.  You carry tribal memories of your beliefs in your physical DNA.  You are also influenced by your past lives, and carry memories in what is referred to as spiritual DNA.

These creation stories are filled with symbolism and metaphors. As Micheal Caduto and Joseph Bruchas explain in their book, Keepers of the Earth, “Everyone’s view of the world is molded by experience: a mix of fantasy, feeling, facts and faith. Each new event and experience affects our ideas concerning the nature of life and our surroundings, shifting the way we see ourselves, other people and our environment.”

Knowing what has influenced and molded you is the first step on your journey to a soul-level understanding of yourself. In this book, you will be learning how to retrieve memories and work with deep-seated beliefs. You will bring them to your awareness in order to learn from them, so that you may grow into the power of your soul.

A Simplified History of Early Spiritual Beliefs: Where We Come From

Humans have tried to understand the origin of life and the source of their own being since the beginning of time.  Spiritual beliefs and religions have been passed on by word of mouth descriptions and stories that explain the Creator and the beginning of the human race.  The cosmology of a Creator—a God—is often personified based on that specific culture’s earthly experiences. Most of these descriptions of life source energy are brief, sometimes vague, or not clearly documented. Ultimately, there is a consistency of reoccurring descriptions and references to a divine presence before all things were created.

The concept of Creator shifted from a female to a male over a long course of time. Archeological findings show that in the time before written language, the archetype of a female Creator seemed to prevail. As written language developed, The one God over all concept often assumes that a male deity is the highest God and Creator.

In most traditions there is a desire to obtain spiritual wisdom and a reassuring connection to the Creator. The archetypal belief is that this connection to the Creator will bring prosperity and relief from the sufferings of life.

Also present throughout most spiritual belief systems is the archetypal fear of having forgotten God and “his” commands. While some may have stayed true to the ways and faith of God, others fell to the ways of following their own worldly lusts, and neglecting or even forgetting God.  If God has been forgotten, who is going to tell their children about the mysteries of God, the Creator, so that God will keep them safe? This archetype speaks to the yearning to nurture the human spirit and soul deeply embedded in humanity.

As you search for your spiritual origins, first look at what has influenced and molded you. Next, look at what resonates with you.  For instance, are you a child of God, a star seed, a creation of Mother Earth, a transplant from another universe, or a being from another plane of existence? We ALL have spiritual origins, and the challenge is to remember Soul and Source when you wonder where you have come from!

Peace out!

First Contact with Extraterrestrial Beings: Exploring the Unknown

One of recorded history’s most prolonged-running and written conspiracy theories is whether we are alone. The concept of first contact with extraterrestrial beings has fascinated humanity for centuries. As a little boy growing up with movies such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars, and E.T. and having direct bloodlines to ancestors like Neil Armstrong (first man on the moon), I have always been enamored and intrigued with the possibility of intelligent life both here on our planet (we know more about the moon than we do our oceans) and what is out there among the darkness of space in our universe containing more stars than the grains of sand on all of the beaches here in Earth. In this article, we will delve into the hypothetical scenario of first contact with extradimensional beings, extraterrestrials, or “aliens,” exploring the various possibilities, potential challenges, and the impact they may have on our world and finally start to answer humans’ biggest question, are we truly alone in this universe.

The possibility of encountering intelligent life from other planets or discovering something right here in our oceans, deep down in the planet or the ice-covered continent of Antarctica, sparks our imagination and raises profound questions and debates about our human place in the universe. Who better to research and discuss than those subject matter experts who have traveled to space and would have first-hand knowledge and experiences with the UFO phenomenon, Navy test pilot, NASA astronaut, and MIT graduate Edgar Mitchell?

In 1966, just 13 years after enlisting in the United States Navy, Edgar Mitchell became a NASA astronaut. Mitchell spent much of his adult life as a Naval Aviator before attending the Navy’s postgraduate school. He became a Navy research pilot and earned his Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was in the rotation for Apollo Missions 9 and 10 and was supposed to go up with the ill-fated Apollo 13. However, it was during Apollo 14 that Edgar Mitchell was finally able to set foot on the moon’s surface. While returning to Earth, he finally had a moment to take in the view. Seeing Earth from the outside changed how he saw himself and humanity.

“My own experience was a very powerful one —on the way back after my work was done…From looking at Earth from space, you come up with the question, who are we, how did we get here, and where’s all this going? And that’s an ancient question that humans have asked for a long time. My experience was to realize that perhaps our science is wrong at answering these questions, and perhaps our religious cosmologies are archaic and flawed. And given that now we are an extraterrestrial civilization ourselves, we need to re-ask these questions,  do a lot more work to find the answers. I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.
-Edgar Mitchell.

The once-enlisted sailor and celebrated astronaut who became the sixth human on the moon passed over in 2016 at age 85.

I. The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI):
Humanity’s fascination with intelligent life beyond Earth has led to the establishment of organizations such as the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). Through radio telescopes and other advanced technologies, SETI has been scanning the cosmos for any potential signals indicating the presence of alien civilizations. The discovery of such signals could potentially pave the way for first contact.

II. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST):
JWST is a large, space-based observatory that is set to be launched by NASA. It is designed to study the universe in infrared wavelengths and will be able to see the first galaxies that formed in the early universe. As for whether the James Webb telescope will discover life, its primary goal is not to search for extraterrestrial life directly. However, the telescope will be able to study the atmospheres of exoplanets, which could provide valuable information about their potential habitability. While the JWST may not directly discover life, it could contribute to our understanding of the conditions that could support life on other planets.

III. The Encounter: A Momentous Event:
If first contact were to occur, it would undoubtedly be a momentous event in human history. The initial encounter between humans and aliens could take various forms, from direct physical encounters to communication through advanced technologies. Both parties’ reactions would be a mix of curiosity, excitement, and apprehension.

IV. Cultural and Linguistic Barriers:
Communication with extraterrestrial beings would present significant challenges due to potential cultural and linguistic barriers. Aliens may have different ways of perceiving and understanding the world, making it difficult to establish meaningful communication. Developing a universal language or using advanced translation technologies would be crucial in bridging this gap.

V. Technological Advancements and Scientific Collaboration:
First contact would undoubtedly spur significant technological advancements and scientific collaboration. The exchange of knowledge and ideas between humans and aliens could revolutionize our understanding of the universe, leading to breakthroughs in physics, biology, and astrophysics. The sharing of advanced technologies could also profoundly impact our way of life.

VI. Societal and Ethical Implications:
The societal and ethical implications of first contact cannot be understated. The encounter with a more advanced civilization may raise questions about our existence, religion, and philosophy. It could also challenge our perception of humanity’s place in the universe and prompt us to reevaluate our values and priorities as a species. The potential for conflicts and power struggles may arise, requiring careful consideration and diplomacy.

VII. The Impact on Earth’s Ecosystem:
The arrival of aliens could have unintended consequences for Earth’s ecosystem. Introducing alien organisms or technologies could disrupt delicate ecological balances, leading to unpredictable outcomes. Establishing protocols and guidelines to prevent any irreversible damage and ensure the preservation of our planet’s biodiversity becomes crucial.

In conclusion, First contact with aliens remains a hypothetical scenario, but it captivates our collective imagination. Exploring this possibility raises profound questions about our place in the universe, our understanding of life, and the potential for scientific and technological advancements. As we continue to search for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence, we must also contemplate the societal, ethical, and environmental implications that first contact would entail. We can only navigate the unknown and embrace the potential opportunities and challenges that await us in the vast cosmos by approaching this hypothetical scenario with open minds and careful consideration. Welcome to our Roaring 20’s of change, renaissance, and transformation!

“We don’t need to be this warlike civilization. We need to learn to be a cooperative civilization working together to solve our survival problems and our sustainability problems. Because right now, civilization as we live it is not sustainable… it’s a question as to whether we can make it through this century or not, the way we’re doing things right now.”  -Edgar Mitchell.

The Diamonds of Being Alone

Being alone is often misunderstood and stigmatized in our society. Many people associate being alone with loneliness and isolation, but it is essential to recognize that being alone can be a valuable and enriching experience. This article will explore the art of being alone, its benefits, and how to cultivate a healthy relationship with solitude.

  1. Embracing Solitude:

Being alone allows us to reconnect with ourselves and explore our thoughts and emotions. It will enable us to step away from the distractions and noise of the world and focus on our own needs and desires. Embracing solitude can lead to self-discovery, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of ourselves.

  1. Reflection and Self-Discovery:

We have the space and time to reflect on our lives, goals, and values when alone. This introspection can lead to self-discovery and a better understanding of who we are, allowing us to identify our strengths and weaknesses and make choices and decisions that align with our authentic selves.

  1. Creative Expression:

Being alone can also foster creativity and innovation. It provides the freedom to explore new ideas, engage in artistic pursuits, and experiment with different forms of self-expression. Many great artists, writers, and thinkers have credited their periods of solitude as crucial to their creative process.

  1. Independence and Self-Reliance:

Spending time alone can help develop a sense of independence and self-reliance. When alone, we learn to rely on ourselves for companionship, entertainment, and problem-solving. This can lead to increased self-confidence and a greater sense of empowerment.

  1. Mindfulness and Inner Peace:

Being alone in our fast-paced and constantly connected world allows us to slow down and cultivate mindfulness. It provides an opportunity to be fully present in the moment, to observe our thoughts and emotions without judgment, and to find inner peace and tranquility. Mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce stress, enhance well-being, and improve overall mental health.

  1. Building Meaningful Connections:

Being comfortable with being alone can enhance our ability to form meaningful connections with others. When secure in our own company, we are less likely to seek validation and fulfillment from external sources. This allows us to enter into relationships from a place of authenticity and independence, fostering deeper connections and healthier dynamics.

In Conclusion:

Being alone is not something to be feared or avoided but rather an art to be embraced and cultivated. It provides us with an opportunity for self-discovery, creativity, independence, and mindfulness. By learning to appreciate and enjoy our company, we can build a stronger sense of self, foster personal growth, and cultivate meaningful connections with others. So, let us not shy away from solitude but instead embrace it as a valuable and enriching experience.
