Working with the Moon

Going with the flow is as natural as can be if you follow the moon.

You already pay some level of attention to her comings and goings, even if that’s just noticing when she’s huge in the sky. It’s possible to do a lot more than posting full moon photos on social media, though. And going with her flow does not have to require a lot of effort.

The moon goes through a predictable and regular cycle of change every month: growing from crescent to full and then fading to dark.

You can coattail on her process. Four phases are ideal for this.

At the new moon, set intentions, launch ideas and start projects. This can be as simple as thinking about it. Or you could write down your thoughts, on paper or in a digital note.

You could also create a little ceremony: Light a candle and write your intentions. Create a little altar if you like with crystals, images, cards and objects that fit what you’re asking to create. Fold the paper with your intentions and tuck it into the altar.

The first quarter moon is a good time to ask how you’re doing. What is growing? What is building? What can you cultivate or nudge along?

At the full moon, think about what you have created or accomplished, and what you are ready to release. This is also an appropriate time for a ceremony. If you still have the intentions you wrote at the full moon, you may want to burn them to let them go. You may also write down
anything you’d like to let go of, and burn that. A full moon is an excellent time to start a detox or a diet, by the way.

At the fourth quarter, let go. Allow yourself to go fallow; just plain allow.

It’s also helpful to pay attention to the sign the Moon is in as she travels through the month. She spends about two and a half days in each sign, and the nature of the sign gives big clues to the general vibe (and your emotional state).

Energy is high when the Moon is in a fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius). People tend to be active and animated, and often upbeat.

When the Moon is in an earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), the atmosphere is more grounded or focused on practical matters.

Communication flies when the Moon is in an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius).

And emotions are more tender, sensitive and moody when she is in a water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).

Don’t know how to find her phases and movements? They’re available in yearly planners (Llewellyn is one source) and online at sites like Astro.com, as well as in freestanding astrology apps and astrology calendars you can add to your own.

Jump Start Any Tarot Deck

You can jump start a connection with any Tarot deck, no matter how far it wanders from the old Rider-Waite-Smith tradition.
The next time you succumb to dazzling illustrations or a favorite theme, before you head for the companion booklet (or scan a QR code to read it online), give your intuition a chance to dive into the deck.

Before shuffling for the first time, scan the entire deck in sequence. What’s the creator’s intention? What’s your visual reaction? Your emotional? The design and aesthetic will give a sense of its vibe and point of view.

Start with a simple three card pull – past, present and future, for example, or body, mind and spirit. Look at the cards as a unit. Does anything connect them visually? How do they make you feel?

Look at the colors. Does the same color appear on more than one card? How? What do the colors connect?

Do the same thing with objects and buildings.

Look at the figures. What are they doing? Look at their postures. What direction are they facing? Is one facing the past? Facing you? Facing the future? If you look at them in a row, could you see them as interacting with each other?

What’s going on in the left card? In the middle card? In the right one? What is the visual progression from the left card to the middle to the right?

Now spin that progression into a story line. How is the past leading to the present to the future? Or how are body, mind and spirit working together (or not)?

This approach sets up a connection between your intuition and the deck. It’s not a substitute for mastering the cards’ traditional meanings, or for reading up on the deck creator’s interpretations. But it will enhance you. See if it doesn’t carry over as you move on to more elaborate spreads. Have fun with it!

The Soul Adventures of Curiosities and Coincidences!

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its reason for existing.”
-Albert Einstein

Curiosity: The desire to learn or know about anything, a curious, rare, or novel thing. A strange, curious, or interesting quality or feature.[1]

Coincidence: A striking occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance the condition or fact of coinciding, to occupy the same place in space, the same point or period in time, or the same relative position.[2]

Spirituality is a multifaceted concept that encompasses a wide range of beliefs, practices, and experiences. It often involves our search for connection, meaning, and purpose to something greater than ourselves. This adventure explores the curiosities and coincidences of our journey that can emerge within many spiritual traditions, rituals, and experiences. The intriguing intersections of culture, psychology, and personal beliefs play a part in our understanding of such concepts. They can be a broad spectrum of experiences that may or may not have a connection to an organized religion. It often includes personal beliefs about the universe, the nature of existence, and our search for inner peace, healing, knowledge, and enlightenment. Many individuals or “spiritual prospectors” worldwide have reported profound or out-of-world experiences that they may interpret as spiritual awakenings, visions, or a calling leading to transformative changes in their lives. These experiences often provoke curiosity about their origins, significance, and personal meaning.

Spiritual practices vary widely across cultures, yet many share common themes and symbols. For instance, numerous cultures have developed rituals around the changing seasons, celestial events, and life cycles, suggesting an intrinsic human connection to nature. The prevalence of meditation, prayer, and contemplation across diverse cultures raises questions about the universal aspects of spirituality. Moreover, the stories and myths that populate different spiritual traditions often reveal striking similarities. For example, flood myths exist in many cultures, from the Epic of Gilgamesh to the biblical story of Noah. These coincidences point to shared human experiences or archetypal narratives that resonate across time and geography.

“Coincidences are not accidents but signals from the universe that we’re on the right path.”
– Anonymous.

From a psychological standpoint, spirituality can play a crucial role in mental health and well-being. Studies have shown that individuals who engage in spiritual practices report higher life satisfaction and emotional resilience. The phenomenon of synchronicity—meaningful coincidences that seem to defy causal explanation—often captivates those on spiritual paths. Carl Jung popularized this concept, suggesting that such experiences might reflect an underlying connection between the individual psyche and the collective unconscious.[3] Furthermore, the placebo effect in spiritual healing practices raises questions about the power of belief and intention. Many individuals report healing through prayer, meditation, plant medicines, energy work, or other spiritual practices. Curiosity about the mind-body-spirit connection and the potential for self-healing and to “know thyself.”

Coincidences often play a significant role in people’s spiritual journeys and experiences. Serendipitous encounters, chance meetings, or unexpected insights can lead individuals to new paths of exploration, education, and a deeper understanding. Many spiritual seekers recount stories of seemingly random events that catalyzed profound life shifts and transformations. These coincidences can evoke a sense of wonder, hope, love, community, and connection to the universe, spirit, and our definition of God while reinforcing divine guidance or synchronicity beliefs.

As spirituality continues to be explored and examined through scientific lenses, the curiosities surrounding it become even more pronounced. Research in neuroscience and psychology has begun to uncover how spiritual practices can alter brain function and promote well-being.[4] The exploration of altered states of consciousness through meditation, psychedelics, or deep contemplative practices highlights the potential for profound experiences that challenge conventional understandings of reality. “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.”
-Albert Einstein

A Coincidental Lighthouse Encounter Story

In the bustling city of Seattle, Washington, a curious young man named Michael worked as a barista in a cozy coffee shop. While serving coffee, he often daydreamed about traveling the world and discovering hidden treasures. While organizing the shelves one rainy afternoon, he found a vintage postcard tucked inside an old book—a picturesque scene of a lighthouse on a rocky cliff above the Puget Sound with a handwritten note: “To the one who seeks, follow the light.”

Intrigued, Michael felt a surge of curiosity. He wondered about the lighthouse and if it existed nearby. After his shift, he decided to investigate. Michael set out on his motorcycle with nothing but a map and his adventurous spirit. As he whisked through Seattle’s winding and hilly streets, he suddenly spotted a woman struggling with a flat tire on the roadside. Her vibrant red scarf caught his eye. With curiosity in his heart and mind, he needed to stop and help her fix the flat tire. While fixing the tire, they quickly struck up a casual conversation. Her name was Rochelle, a lawyer who shared her curiosities with Michael about the historical and famous lighthouses around the Pacific Northwest.  They shared stories of their travels and dreams off the side of the road that would only ignite and charge their curiosity about PNW Lighthouses.

After fixing her tire, Rochelle invited Michael to join her on a trip to one of the lighthouses only a few miles from their current location. Excited by the coincidence of their shared destination, he gladly accepted. They set off together, their conversation flowing as they rode along the scenic Pacific Northwest roadways.

When they arrived at the lighthouse, the sun began to set, casting a golden red glow over the Olympic Mountains to the west and a specific white light shining on an old bookshelf in the corner of the lighthouse. As they reached for the books at the top of the bookcase, they discovered an old journal left by one of the former lighthouse caretakers. Flipping through the dusty old pages, they found sketches of the surrounding area and notes about a hidden pathway and cave along the cliffs of the Puget Sound. Fueled further by their curiosity, they decided to walk down and explore this hidden cave. Once inside, they uncovered exquisite shells, unique rock formations, and tidal pools filled with marine life and marveled at the beauty hidden in the lighthouse’s shadows. Their shared adventure deepened their connection as they laughed and discovered more treasures together.

As they returned to the lighthouse, Michael reached into his pocket and pulled out the postcard. He shared its story with Rochelle, and to his astonishment, Rochelle recognized it. Her grandmother sent her that very postcard from the same lighthouse years ago. It turned out fate had intertwined their paths long before meeting that night.

Under a sky full of PNW stars and standing at the top of the lighthouse’s cupola bathed in the rotating white light of the lighthouse, Michael and Rochelle exchanged their dreams, passions, and aspirations, realizing that life’s coincidences often lead to the most unexpected “Soul Adventures!” Their journey unveiled and revealed this lighthouse’s secrets and illuminated a new friendship forged by curiosity, serendipity, and coincidences. From that day on, they explored together—chasing dreams and adventures, knowing that sometimes, curiosity leads to the most delightful coincidences for those willing and courageous enough to “follow the light!”

Curiosities and coincidences invite us to dream, explore, and discover the more profound questions of human existence, connection, and meaning in life. As we navigate and investigate the diverse expressions of spirituality across cultures and personal experiences, we uncover the rich tapestry of human healing, love, belief, knowledge, hope, and fundamental transformation. Curiosity and coincidences remind us of our shared quest for understanding in a world with mystery and wonder. Whether through cultural rituals, psychological insights, or coincidental experiences, it inspires curiosity and deeper exploration in the search for truth and the many soul adventures of curiosities and coincidences waiting for all of us and the serendipitous moments that shape our spiritual journeys—embracing curiosity and recognizing the significance of coincidences as part of our life’s many incredible adventures.

Happy Prospecting!

Dreams & Dream Messages: Unlocking Guidance from Your Subconscious and the Universe – Part 3

Part 3

Prophetic Dreams: When the Future Speaks Through Sleep

Some dreams go beyond reflection and imagination—they offer glimpses of what’s to come. Prophetic dreams feel vivid, emotionally charged, and leave you with an undeniable sense that they hold meaning. These dreams serve as guides, helping you navigate life’s uncertainties with greater confidence.

The Purpose of Prophetic Dreams

Prophetic dreams can act as warnings, guiding you away from danger. They may reveal upcoming opportunities, preparing you to take action. Sometimes, they offer reassurance, confirming that a decision you’ve been contemplating is the right one. They remind us of the connection between intuition, subconscious wisdom, and the greater forces at play in our lives.

As a child, I had nightmares about intense storms at my grandmother’s house. When I told my mother, she explained that my grandmother—who lived in Florida—was experiencing a hurricane at that moment. It was my first realization that dreams could carry real-world messages.

Recognizing a Prophetic Dream

Not every intense dream is prophetic. Most nightmares stem from unresolved fears, while prophetic dreams have a unique clarity. They may feel like watching a movie or receiving an information download rather than experiencing personal emotions. Some involve direct, real-world events, while others use symbolic imagery.

You might dream of a specific place or person, only to encounter them later in waking life. Other times, a recurring symbol keeps appearing in different dreams, urging you to pay attention. Prophetic dreams often leave lingering emotions—excitement, unease, or a deep sense of knowing—as if your subconscious is telling you, this matters.

Interpreting and Trusting the Message

Dreams speak in symbols that only you can fully interpret. While dream books offer general meanings, your higher consciousness tailors messages specifically for you. Trust your intuition over any external source.

When you think you’ve had a prophetic dream, write it down immediately—dreams fade quickly upon waking. Look for patterns in recurring dreams or symbols. I follow what I call the power of three—if a dream message repeats in different ways, it’s a clear sign to take it seriously.

What to Do with a Prophetic Dream

Instead of overanalyzing or reacting emotionally, take a step back. Ask your higher guidance, What action should I take? If the dream is a warning, consider what proactive steps you can take to avoid challenges. If it’s offering reassurance, allow it to boost your confidence in your choices.

I’ve seen students receive powerful dream messages only to exhaust themselves trying to figure out every possible meaning. Trust that if Spirit sent the message, Spirit will also help you work with it. Be patient, observant, and open—answers will come.

Final Thoughts: The Gift of Prophetic Dreams

Prophetic dreams are not meant to scare or overwhelm—they are gifts of loving grace. They carry one simple message: trust your intuition. They remind you that your subconscious, or perhaps a higher source, is tuned into energies and events you may not yet consciously perceive. Whether bringing warnings, preparation, or validation, these dreams encourage you to listen deeply and stay open to the unfolding path ahead.

The next time you wake up with a dream that lingers, don’t dismiss it. It might just be the Universe whispering to you, offering a glimpse of what’s to come.

Dreams & Dream Messages: Unlocking Guidance from Your Subconscious and the Universe – Part 2

Part 2
Daydreams and Their Messages

Daydreaming is often seen as a distraction, but what if it’s actually a message from your subconscious, a bridge to your intuition, or even whispers from the divine? These mental wanderings can serve as tools for creative problem-solving, emotional healing, and spiritual insight, offering access to wisdom that may not come through in your waking consciousness.

What Are Daydreams?

A daydream is a spontaneous and often involuntary thought process where your mind drifts into imagined scenarios, ideas, or fantasies. Unlike nighttime dreams, which occur in deep sleep, daydreams happen while you are awake—often when you are relaxed or not fully engaged in a specific task.

During a daydream, your mind weaves together thoughts, emotions, and memories, forming stories or visions that can be as subtle as a passing thought or as vivid as a full scene playing out in your mind. These mental wanderings may seem random, but they often carry hidden meaning and insight.

The Purpose of Daydreaming: More Than Just Escaping Reality

Daydreaming is not just mental escapism; it serves an essential purpose. It allows for creative breakthroughs, emotional processing, stress relief, and deeper intuition. Instead of dismissing them, see them as moments of self-exploration and insight.

If you keep daydreaming about the same place, person, or situation, your soul may be trying to tell you something. These recurring thoughts can reveal hidden desires, unresolved emotions, or even glimpses of what’s to come.

Daydreams as a Tool for Self-Discovery

Daydreams often reflect your deepest desires, fears, and emotions—even if you’re not consciously aware of them. If you experience recurring daydreams about a specific situation, person, or outcome, it could be a sign that your soul is trying to get your attention.

Pay attention to recurring daydreams – If a particular thought or scenario keeps playing in your mind, it likely has a deeper meaning. If a daydream stirs intense feelings, and you have a strong emotional response, it may reveal something important about your inner state. Some daydreams feel more vivid than others, you experience unusual clarity or detail, almost like a vision rather than a simple thought. For example, If you constantly daydream about moving to a new city or changing careers, your intuition could be nudging you toward a real-life transformation.

Spiritual Insight: Some daydreams carry messages from your higher self or the Universe. If a daydream feels mainly symbolic, uplifting, or profound, consider it a divine nudge toward your highest path.

The Science Behind Daydreaming: Shifting Brainwaves to Receive Messages

When you daydream, your brain naturally shifts into an alpha state—a relaxed, meditative brainwave pattern associated with creativity, problem-solving, and intuitive insight. If you relax even further, your brain may enter a theta state, which is linked to deep intuition, spiritual connection, and divine guidance. Alpha State (Relaxed Focus) Enhances creativity, helps generate solutions, and makes unexpected mental connections. Theta State (Deep Intuition) Opens the door to higher consciousness, divine messages, and subconscious wisdom.

Many intuitive and spiritual downloads happen during these moments of mental wandering. This is why visionaries, artists, and spiritual seekers often rely on daydreaming as a powerful tool for accessing inspiration.

Using Daydreams as a Spiritual Practice

Instead of letting daydreams come and go unnoticed, you can intentionally use them for self-discovery, creativity, and guidance. Here are some ways to work with them:

Step one: Notice Patterns in Your Daydreams and keep a journal of recurring themes, symbols, and emotions that appear in your daydreams. Over time, you may start seeing clear messages and insights emerge.
Step 2: Ask for Guidance Before Daydreaming. If you want to receive clarity on a situation, try setting an intention: “I invite my higher self to bring me insight through my daydreams today.” Then, simply allow your mind to wander naturally and observe what arises.
Step 3: Use Daydreams as a Visualization Tool. Since daydreams naturally engage the imagination, they are powerful for manifestation. If you keep seeing yourself in a specific scenario, lean into it—visualization is a key step in bringing your dreams to life.

Final Thoughts: Daydreaming as a Divine Gift

Daydreams are not distractions—they are doorways into your subconscious mind, a tool for problem-solving, and even a channel for spiritual messages.

The next time you find yourself drifting into a daydream ask yourself: What is this dream trying to tell me? Is there a deeper meaning behind this thought? How can I use this insight in my waking life?

Your inner world is full of wisdom—sometimes, you just have to let your mind wander to hear it.

Dreams & Dream Messages: Unlocking Guidance from Your Subconscious and the Universe – Part 1

Part 1
Dreams, whether experienced in sleep or as waking visions, serve as powerful channels of communication from the Universe, your subconscious, or your higher self. They offer insights, guidance, and healing in ways that often transcend logic.

Psychiatrist and intuition expert Judith Orloff describes four types of dreams that can reveal hidden truths, help solve problems, and even support emotional healing. Additionally, daydreams—often dismissed as distractions—can be another profound way messages reach us.

Psychological Dreams: Insights into Your Inner World

Psychological dreams reflect your inner world, mirroring your thoughts, fears, and emotions. They help you process feelings, confront hidden aspects of yourself, and gain clarity about your personal truths.

Unlike prophetic or spiritual dreams, psychological dreams are deeply personal, drawing from your life experiences, emotional patterns, and mental state.

Symbolism in Psychological Dreams

These dreams often communicate using symbols rather than direct messages. For example, being lost in a dream may symbolize uncertainty or feeling directionless in waking life. A storm could represent emotional turmoil or unresolved tension. A locked door might indicate something within yourself that you are not yet ready to explore.

A common psychological dream is being chased. Many people experience dreams of being pursued by an unknown figure, an animal, or even a shadowy presence. This often symbolizes avoidance. You may be running from a fear, an unresolved issue, or a truth you are hesitant to face. Ask yourself—what are you avoiding in your waking life? Is there a decision, conversation, or responsibility that feels overwhelming? Your dream is urging you to confront it instead of running away it.

Problem-Solving Dreams: Your Subconscious at Work

Problem-solving dreams act as a mental workshop, helping you navigate challenges and uncover creative solutions. Your subconscious mind continues working while you sleep, offering insights that might not emerge in your waking state.

These dreams often present symbolic solutions:
A key unlocking a door may suggest that a resolution is within reach.
Finding a map might symbolize clarity and direction for an issue you’re facing.
Climbing a mountain could represent perseverance and overcoming obstacles.

Why Problem-solving Dreams Matter Problem-solving dreams give you access to ideas and perspectives beyond your conscious mind. If you wake up with a strong feeling about a dream, write it down—there may be wisdom in its symbols waiting to be
deciphered.

Healing Dreams: Restoring Emotional and Spiritual Balance

Healing dreams bring comfort, release, and restoration. They often appear during emotionally challenging times, offering reassurance and guidance for inner healing.

How Healing Dreams Work

These dreams help process emotions, release trauma, or provide messages of comfort from a spiritual source. They may involve:
Symbolic Imagery—A warm light surrounding you may represent divine support.
Encounters with Loved Ones—You may dream of someone who has passed away, bringing a message of love and reassurance.
Physical Sensations—Feeling warmth, peace, or even a sense of being held can indicate spiritual healing.

Example: If you’re grieving, you may dream of a departed loved one embracing you, offering reassurance that they are still present in spirit.

Healing dreams serve as reminders that your soul is resilient and that unseen forces are always guiding you toward wholeness.

Dreams are a bridge between the conscious and the divine, offering guidance, healing, and insight. Whether through deep sleep, sudden visions, or even wandering thoughts, the Universe is always speaking.

Are you listening?

Asking for a Sign and Receiving an Answer

Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, unsure which path to take? In those moments, asking the Universe for a sign can offer guidance, reassurance, and a sense of connection to something greater than yourself. But how do you ask? And more importantly, how do you recognize and trust the answer when it arrives?

Here’s how to navigate this practice with openness and trust.

Setting an Intention

The first step in asking for a sign is setting a clear and purposeful intention. Be specific about what you need guidance on and what kind of sign you would like to receive.

For example:
“Universe, if this is the right decision for me, show me a butterfly.”
“If I’m on the right path, let me see repeated numbers like 111 or 444.”

Approach this request with sincerity and an open heart. Think of it as a conversation with the Universe, your guides, or your higher self. By doing so, you create an energetic signal that you are ready to receive guidance.

Patience and Letting Go of Expectations

Once you’ve asked for a sign, release any expectations about how or when it will appear. Signs often show up in ways we don’t anticipate, and if we try too hard to control the process, we may block ourselves from seeing the answer.

Trust that the Universe hears your request and will respond in perfect timing. Be open to unexpected forms of communication—your sign might appear in a song, a passing conversation, or an object that suddenly catches your attention.

Avoid overanalyzing or second-guessing. Instead, allow the message to unfold naturally.

Recognizing and Trusting Confirmation

When a sign appears, acknowledge it and trust your inner knowing. Often, signs come with a feeling of deep alignment—a quiet, yet undeniable, “Yes, this is for me.”

Some signs may be subtle, while others are unmistakable. If you asked for a butterfly and suddenly a butterfly lands right in front of you, that’s your confirmation. If the Universe wants to make sure you don’t miss it, it may send the same message multiple times—repeated numbers, animals, or words that keep appearing in your daily life.

If you’re unsure, you can always ask for the sign to be shown again for clarity. The Universe is patient and will work with you until the message is fully understood.

Strengthening Your Connection to Signs

Receiving signs from the Universe can feel exhilarating when they flow freely—but at times, they may seem to disappear just when you feel like you need them most. This is part of spiritual growth. Trust that the connection is always present, even when it feels quiet.
Two key practices can help strengthen your ability to receive and interpret signs:

1. Gratitude: The Key to Strengthening the Flow

When you receive a sign, express gratitude—whether it’s a whisper of thanks, a journal entry, or a heartfelt acknowledgment.

Why? Because gratitude does more than show appreciation; it tells your brain to look for more signs.

Your brain is constantly filtering information, scanning for patterns based on what it believes is important. When you react to signs with excitement and appreciation, you train your mind to become more aware of the Universe’s messages.

2. Reflection: Understanding the Message

After recognizing a sign, take a moment to reflect on its meaning:
 How does it relate to your intention or current situation?
 What emotions arise when you see it?
 Does the sign bring clarity, or does it ask you to be patient and trust?

Your mind may want to overanalyze, but instead of dissecting the sign, feel into the moment. If needed, ask your higher self or spirit guides for additional clarity.

Sometimes, the answer comes in ways we don’t expect—a sign may show up in a form that’s outside the box of what you originally asked for. The Universe has its own way of guiding you, and part of the process is learning to trust and build a relationship with a higher power.

Aligning with the Flow of Guidance

Asking for a sign isn’t about demanding answers; it’s about co-creating with the Universe. By setting a clear intention, letting go of expectations, and remaining open to confirmation, you create space for divine guidance to flow.

The Universe wants to communicate with you. Are you ready to listen?

Signs, Synchronicities, and the Universe’s Nudges: Are You Paying Attention?

Have you ever experienced something that made you stop in your tracks? A moment so oddly timed that it felt like the universe was speaking directly to you?

Maybe you’ve been thinking about an old friend, and suddenly they call. Or you keep seeing the same repeating number everywhere. Or perhaps, like me, you hit roadblock after roadblock in something you were convinced was the “right” decision—only to realize much later that those obstacles were actually guiding you to something better.

When Life Says “No,” It Might Mean “Look Again”

Not long ago, I was trying to secure a home improvement loan. I was sure it was the right move—logically, it made sense. But after researching, applying, and trying every avenue, the answer was still no.

I thought I understood why it wasn’t working out, but something in me wondered: Was this more than just bad timing? Was I being guided in another direction?

Looking back now, I can see that not getting the loan led me to a completely different path—one that turned out to be far better than what I had originally planned.

Was the loan rejection a sign? I believe it was. Even though I couldn’t see it at the time, life was nudging me toward something I hadn’t yet imagined.

Where Do Signs Come From?

We often think of signs and synchronicities as coincidences, but what if they’re not?

Some signs feel external—like messages from nature, chance encounters, or perfectly timed events. Others arise within us, like strong gut feelings or sudden flashes of clarity. These moments feel different from our usual thoughts. They have a weight, a presence, as if they are
“new” information being given to us rather than something we thought up ourselves.

So if these signs aren’t coming from our own minds, where do they come from?

The Web of Connection

You’ve probably heard the phrase, we are all connected. But what does that actually mean?

Think of the internet. A vast, invisible network, connecting people across the globe. Now, imagine something even more expansive—a web of energy, connecting all beings, all thoughts, all possibilities. This is what I call the One Mind or the Akashic Field. It is the mind of the Creator, the Source of all that is.

Thoughts are energy, and energy moves. Just like entering a search into a web browser, our thoughts send out signals into this vast field. Some thoughts are mundane—what you had for breakfast. Others hold deep significance—insights that guide you toward your highest path.

Signs as Invitations to Expand

Signs, synchronicities, and nudges are ways the universe invites you to go larger in your life. They push you beyond your current thought patterns, beyond your comfort zone, toward something more aligned with your Soul’s path.

Your Soul and the Divine are always communicating with you. You also have a team—guides, guardians, and loved ones in spirit—who support your journey. They aren’t pushing you to be someone you’re not; they’re reminding you of who you already are.

Of course, not every influence in your life has your best interests at heart. Some obstacles are just part of being human. Some resistance comes from within—old fears, doubts, and conditioning. But for now, let’s focus on the loving force that does want the best for you. The one that whispers, nudges, and, sometimes, outright blocks the wrong path so you can find the right one.

Why Does This Matter?

Maybe you feel content with where you are. And that’s okay.

But life is temporary. As Bugs Bunny wisely said, “None of us is getting out of here alive.”

We’re here to explore, learn, grow, and experience. The signs you receive aren’t about forcing change on you; they’re about helping you enjoy your life, uncover your dreams, and actually live them.

Which brings me back to my home improvement loan.

I thought I needed that loan to make my home “better.” But my Soul knew better. It knew I was meant for something more. The “no” I received was actually a redirection toward something that truly fulfilled me.

So the next time life puts up a roadblock, ask yourself: Is this just an obstacle? Or is it a sign?

And if it is a sign, where might it be leading you?

Using Gratitude to Raise the Energies

We all know that being grateful, and showing gratitude is a keyway of creating incentive to move ourselves out of a rut, and it can be instrumental in our own healing, and to give us perspective.

It can drive us towards manifesting positive outcomes, promote forgiveness and understanding, and mostly make us realize that our own problems, in many cases, are solvable. It can pull us out of Victim mentality, and even on the darkest of days, a glimpse of Gratitude can help shift things in a positive way.

A lot of emphasis around gratitude has been based on manifesting and creating what we desire or want in our lives. This can be money, a lovely home, a healthy relationship, a job we want and more. For the individual, this can be empowering, however we now need to shift
this to a collective consciousness.

To achieve this, we must be aware of the light and the dark. We cannot afford to put ourselves into a state of denial, as this ungrounds us.

We, as human and spiritual beings must become aware of when Gratitude is being used as a tool to manipulate people into unethical practices.

The importance of this is to have an awareness of the lower and darker energies that are happening. Just because things appear pretty on the surface, does not mean that they are.

“If you observe for long enough, people will reveal who they truly are.”

You do this by considering what a person may be intending gain for themselves, to listen to your instincts and intuition. To become self-aware of any agenda of your own, which may subconsciously influence your perception. Going into some sort of Spiritual denial of the darkness, putting blinders on because you want to see only the good in people, does not serve you, or humanity, and it does not raise the vibration. It achieves nothing. You need to have an awareness of the darkness to counteract it, much like an antidote for venom. You cannot administer the antidote if you deny what the true illness or injury is.

Therefore, it is important to be aware if the source of the gratitude has an agenda for self-gain or not. To do this, we can identify if there is a selfish agenda behind a show of Gratitude.

We can ask the question: “Who stands to gain power by showing or staging this gratitude”? Look for patterns. Is the person repeatedly using big words, causing hype? A helpful way to identify if Gratitude is being used as a manipulative tool, is that you will find yourself feeling some sort of sense of obligation, that feeling of cognitive dissonance where you are being pulled into agreeing, it “appears” to be good, but your gut says otherwise. This is a false spiritual connection.

We see powerful leaders in many sectors showing gratitude, and staging empathy, while around the world people are dying, losing their jobs, families are being broken up, being moved from pillar to post. This staged persona is to get people to trust and see a leader as a “good” person, so that they trust and believe what is said to be true.

Spirit has told me that:
“TRUE GRATITUDE HAS NO AGENDA, IT IS TO GIVE ENERGY TO OTHERS, NOT TO CONTROL THEM OR TAKE FROM THEM.”

As humanity is heading towards a major shift in consciousness, and our old ways of living are breaking down, causing upheaval in society, and the planet makes her voice heard through earth changes, it is our responsibility as lightworkers, highly sensitives, and Spiritual beings to increase the positive energy.

One way of doing this is by sharing “Gratitude without Agenda.” To give pure and legitimate energy rather than to deceive and to take the energy from a person or people.

Gratitude without agenda is a pure energy, that has an uplifting effect, therefore raising the energy of a person. We need to shift our gratitude away from material things and send that gratitude to each other. Let a person know what is special about them, and how grateful you are for that. Raise that person’s energy up and encourage others to do the same. Send gratitude to ALL living things, animals, plants, the earth. Material objects come and go, they go out of fashion, cause competition. Shift your gratitude to things that can receive it and benefit from it.

The more we do this, the higher the vibration of energy is created, which reconnects us into the flow of the higher Spiritual Realms.

You lose nothing by showing pure gratitude, in fact you become uplifted yourself.

We need to move humanity beyond this stuck human cycle, where the best and the worst comes out of us to the surface, in a disaster and then we revert right back to how we were before. We need to evolve our consciousness and move to a state of balance where we intentionally help uplift each other regardless of a situation, which will allow us to hold that higher vibration as the norm, and therefore, raising humanity towards the 5th dimensional consciousness’.

Raising Our Vibration Beyond the Hype

Hype is an energy, an addictive and emotive excitement that, increases our adrenalin and therefore results in action being taken. There is no doubting this.

Hype, however, should not be misunderstood for a higher vibration.

Hype can incite spectacular and wonderful things and a sense of pride and achievement. The hype created after your favorite sports team wins a world championship, is a feeling and energy that we all love to be in. It gives us such an uplifted feeling. We can all celebrate together.

Hype can also be created from a lower energy such as resentment, not taking responsibility and shifting blame, jealousy, wrong doings, greed, revenge, and the need to control. It is often created by those who have delusions of grandeur, such as a narcissist type of
personality. A Charismatic personality is often clever at inciting hype in people. Hype can incite riots, violence, hate, discrimination. It can convince people to act in ways that are out of character and do things in the moment that they may later regret.

Negative hype breeds speculation, and speculation is a like a wave that rushes through people who get dragged into it. It builds rumors, gossip without evidence, and creates a hypnotic state of false unity but really, its purpose is to cause division. Division is spread
through dis-information, no fact checking, and no regulations or ethical standards.

To divide and conquer, is a technique used by anyone wanting power over others. It is never obvious; it is always hidden within hype and the speculation created thereafter. Hype can make people blind to negative aspects of a person and therefore they lose their consciousness to this. Once hype has a hold of people, it is spread quickly, now more than ever through social media.

Negative hype is usually based on fear, however because most people lack self-awareness, and understanding of those who seem different, or hold different beliefs, they do not understand that fear is the cause. Their inner fear leads them to believe whatever is said, they forget to question anything. The energy of the hype and speculation is so powerful and therefore the feeling created takes a life of its own and people can become lost in it.

A true higher vibration brings a sense of belonging, calm, and balance. It brings clarity. This breeds empathy, compassion, understanding, and openness. It creates awareness and healthy boundaries and respect. It is the foundation for collaborating, and co-operation.

Togetherness and Oneness. It creates a safe space for people to uplift one another and to share resources and ideas. It is gentle, and energizing, yet it is balancing and grounding. It gives us the space to question, to be authentic and honest. It also allows us to remain
objective and view a person or situation in a holistic way, the whole picture, not just part of it. The Yin, and the Yang if you will, the dark and the light, the good and the evil. The ability to observe the whole and not part, without judgement allows us to work in truth to raise our vibration higher.

It allows the space needed for our intuition to come through clearly and accurately.

The call for us to live by our intuition is stronger than ever, lets unite in a true higher vibration, and become self-aware so that we do not lose ourselves to a false energy and entity created by hype.

To get to this higher vibration, the first step is to embrace self-awareness, because self-awareness creates emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence creates true empathy, which changes the entire outlook or perspective of a situation. Where there is empathy, there is intuition, and intuition is our direct connection to Spirit and to the truth.

As we transition through changes that are currently happening, we must practice this as much as we can so that we do not risk becoming lost in the false energy of hype and speculation. So that we can maintain a higher vibration and connect with other souls who
are doing the same thing.
